I am Jana Zajdenova

Curiosity has always guided my path. From the start, I sought real-life applications to complement theory, which led me to explore diverse fields, roles, and team dynamics — from organizing events for 200+ participants with AIESEC, to working on automation processes with interdisciplinary teams at Siemens, and assisting customers during late-night shifts as a hostess.

What consistently grounded my journey were two core principles:

• Listening closely to people’s needs

• Turning those insights into meaningful, practical solutions

Over time, I discovered how much I enjoy visual storytelling — taking ideas and shaping them into engaging, useful, and aesthetically pleasing experiences. This passion led me to pursue a transition into UX/UI design.

Recently, I had the opportunity to bring this skillset to life as the sole Communication Designer for the German team at Gaia-X, a forward-thinking European digitalization project. I developed visuals across a wide spectrum — from infographics, factsheets, and presentations to social media campaigns and print materials — always with a focus on clarity and strategy in design.

Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s degree in Sustainable Design Management at ecosign in Cologne, where I work on both solo and team projects that combine management, design thinking, and sustainability. I'm especially interested in how analog and digital design can create impactful, responsible solutions.
